JOPLIN, MO - RELIEF SPARK BASE CAMP
Since May 28th we have operated an outdoor relief kitchen at the corner of Range Line Rd/20th. Not only have we served meals, but we have sent volunteers out to homes to gut/tear down and now to rebuild. Relief Spark volunteers have also helped the Joplin School District prepare temp school locations for the upcoming school year.

DONATIONS
100% of your donation is applied to the purchase of rebuilding materials and/or to the cost of fuel or other ongoing operational need at our Base Camp located at 1931 N Rangeline Rd., Joplin, MO 64802

As an organization that houses volunteers, we collect a daily or weekly housing fee from each volunteer that stays in our rental property. This fee is applied to rent, utilities, insurance, staff, food (milk, eggs, etc.), supplies and materials needed at our job site.

We estimate our monthly housing costs to be $1,950.00. As for staff, IF we have the funds, then we will offer stipends to 1-3 long term volunteers. Currently, none of our volunteers are paid for their service.

Relief Spark, Inc. is a Louisiana Non-Profit Corporation and our corporate offices are located in New Orleans, LA. We have been operating as a non-profit corporation since October 2005. Our entire staff are volunteers and/or long-term volunteers working on a stipend.
